Myrtlewood is a fascinating wood. It grows on the Oregon and Northern California coast, is complicated, with lots of variation. As we have come to know and understand Myrtlewood we have learned that Myrtlewood is not being harvested responsibly. One day, there will be no more Myrtlewood. We have therefore made the decision to stop creating name tags for new customers from Myrtlewood
Important Note: Effective 1/20/2009 we have ceased engraving on Myrtlewood for new customers. We will attempt to maintain a stock of Myrtlewood for our existing customers. However our stock will one day be depleted.
If you are an Oregon business Myrtlewood would be a good choice. However, we have customers from all over the country using Myrtlewood for the good reason that Myrtlewood is unigue, has character, and engraves very nicely.
