OUR POLICIES
The buzzword these days is "Green". However at the James Coffee Studio's "Green" is just part of the process.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:
We believe in being socially responsible. We attempt to follow sound and honest principles of living our lives. We monitor our consumption and attempt to be conservative. At the present time our carbon footprint is just half that of comparable US entities. We continue to strive to lower our consumption and carbon footprint.
At James Coffee Studio's we believe that we must always be conscious of our "balance sheet". Are we returning to our existence what we are taking? Are we returning perhaps a bit more than we are taking?
We earn our living by creating practical, purposeful products from renewable resources. We create conservatively and with care.
GREEN:
We believe that each of us has an obligation to consume responsibly. At the James Coffee Studios the largest commitment that we have made as a business to 'being green' is the commitment to work with sustainable species of wood, as opposed to working with plastic.
We have worked with plastic, and will occasionally continue to work with plastic, but our business thrust is to wood and bamboo.
In January 2009 we ceased working with Myrtlewood because we are unable to find a sustainable supply.
At the James Coffee Studios being 'Green' included being 'Socially Responsible'.
WE OPERATE OUR BUSINESS conservativlely. We create purposeful and practical products. We have no debt. We warrant our products 100%. We stay focused on doing what is right and on doing what is right exceptionally well. We value our many repeat clients and are proud of the thousands and thousands of practical and purposeful wooden and bamboo name tags that we have given birth to.
